Always discreet underwear?

Has anyone used these after giving birth?  If so did they wear a big pad with them or did they bleed onto them and threw them in the trash to change? 
I just dont see the point of being so bulky if I do use this with a pad. And I find it gross to bleed into this like a diaper.🤷
Is paying 18.94 worth it?

I’ve heard good things about them so I bought some to try. You don’t use a pad with them, they are a pad. How is bleeding into a diaper more or less gross than bleeding into a pad instead?

I wore these with a thin pad and them and would change the whole thing each night after showering.  I kind of just used them to replace underwear for the first week. Just to save from ruining any underwear.

I didn’t use these but used Depends Silhouettes and just used them with no pad.  Had zero leaks and they hold more.

Everyone raved about the mesh underwear from the hospital (you use with pad) but honestly for me the pads wedgied and moved around and the sticky part of the pads tore up the mesh underwear (made one pair unravel). 
I switched to the Depends brand adult diaper, it was secure, full coverage, and less bulky. Also, it saved me the one time I tried to hold back from peeing and lost control (no accidents since then, just tried to hold it too long too early postpartum).
One suggestion I've seen that sounded brilliant - contact the company and ask for a sample. If you dont get enough to last as long as you need, at least you can try them out for free before buying!

I used them for 2 weeks after giving birth with my first! Best thing I ever spent money on! I didn’t have to worry about leaking and they were more comfortable than a pad and underwear! I bought them each time I had a coupon.

I bought some from the grocery store, with a coupon so it was only like $12. Honestly I used a few when my water broke to make it to the hospital and then a few when I got home. But definitely not a whole pack! They're worth it for overnight but if you buy some get the smallest amount you can because you can always ask the hospital for some of their pads to take home too!

I used an off brand version of these. I’d wear them when I’d leave the house those first few times out. I felt I had less chance of leaking. And I wear one at night until I stop bleeding so much. I think they are worth the price bc I feel more secure.

I wore adult diapers by themselves postpartum. Yes, it’s nasty. But if someone told you postpartum life wasn’t nasty, they lied. They were absolutely worth it to me because they don’t leak all over the place so no stained sheets or furniture. They are VERY expensive though.
