Help on telling mom on SAT scores 😔

So I just got my SAT scores and it's bad... to say the least 😞. I told my mom before the test since I registered really late that this first time was just to see how I would do. I'm currently a junior I'm taking 3 APs I have a 3.6 GPA; this year is a lot better than my sophomore ( when I ended with a 3.1) year and I'm just worried to tell my mom because she blamed my sophomore year first semester on my boyfriend even though we hadn't met yet and I don't want her to think the same thing. One of friend's says that my score isn't that bad since my English score is at or above average for most of the UCs I would like to attend it's my math score that really hurt me. I would like to get a math tutor but that requires telling my mom my scores. So I basically need some encouragement and a advice on how to tell her. Please help, Thank You!
