So long story short, we've been ttc for 2 years. Tried 5 rounds of clomid, finally ovulated on 150mg but no bfp. Didn't ovulate the second month on 150mg. Tried 200mg and ovulated but no bfp. I decided to try metformin, even though my glucose tests were normal. So gyn said to stop clomid for 3 cycles to give my body a break and allow metformin to work and then we'll add clomid with it. I called to after my period started on my third cycle, and the rn said that my MD wouldn't give me any more clomid until I met with her because it had been more than 6 months since my last infertility appt. I'm still so mad. Shouldn't she he said something during the last 3 cycles? I called at least twice for different reasons. I'm so torn whether to stay or not because I'm so frustrated but I don't know if I can't afford an RE right now. I also don't know if I can deal with everything an RE would want to do.
