Can people w/ tattoos become nurses? READ DESCRIPTION

We’re at a family party last night & my cousin who has tattoos is about to enter the nursing program. She has a small tattoo on her finger and a large one on her arm. One of our family members suggested she find a different profession and my aunt who is a nurse agreed, all because she has tattoos. How accurate is this? She can hide the arm tattoo with a long shirt under her scrubs is my idea. And the finger tat...come on. If this is true, I feel sad for people that would base someone’s professionalism and ability to be a good nurse on tattoos. With everything bad in the world is it really so terrible to see a nurse with tattoos ? 🤔
