It’s looking like I’m going to make it into the second trimester or just nearly so before I see a doctor. My family doctor cancelled our appointment saying it wasn’t needed and to just get an ultrasound. I got the ultrasound and am having twins. Now two weeks later she has finally referred me to an OBGYN. The OBGYN office now says yes they have the referral but it will be several days before they look at the paperwork and start booking appointments and that I will just have to wait. I tried to tell them I haven’t seen anyone and the ultrasound tech told me I need to have a referral for my next ultrasound in ASAP as it needs to be booked for the week of January 21. Just got told again, yup we will look into our paperwork by the end of the week and call you. So frustrating. I know they don’t want to see you early on but I really figured I would be seen somewhere in the first trimester. I’m so frustrated!
