You should never exceede the dosage limit. I always take four no matter the mg but I also can handle it.

My doctor has me on 1800mg ibuprofen every 8hrs as needed for headaches and migraine.

You should always go by the dosage instructions unless told otherwise by a doctor.

I take 2 pill =400mg a day when on my period and I have BAD cramps and it usually for me it last for 2 days. Just be careful and DON'T over do it. I talked to my doc on Tuesday about what med I should use for bad cramps and she told me to use that same med. Careful and just talk to your doc.

I have 550mg naproxen for cramps.

The max is 4 in one dose..that's 200mg per pill= 800 mg which equivalent to one prescription ibuprophen pill. If you take 4 wait 6 hours to take more. Or if you want another alternative take 2 advil with 2 Tylenol completely safe and maybe more effective.

Yes too much ibuprofen can kill you. I think you can take max 8/day but I'm not 100% on that number.

When I was much younger (and not TTC) I took a lot of ibuprofen... I have weened myself down and try to rough it thru my cramps as now I am TTC
