So, I’ve been talking to my mom about possibly getting engaged (yeah we’re already engaged but we don’t know how to drop that bombshell) and she’s been picky as shit about rings.

This is my engagement ring. She said it’s cute but not an engagement ring. I know the cost. She’s saying he should get a 1-2 grand ring. Any ideas on how to make her shh? I love her, but I love my fiancé and I know we’re saving for our dream wedding in November.

I’m thinking if we both get bands (I already have a ring ordered for him) it’ll be fine. But she’s also saying gold not silver.
