After a 3 hour labor and no epidural, Kailey arrived and was well enough for me to hold her for 1 minute before they did the APGAR tests (9/10 both times!).  She was then brought to the NICU where she'll probably be for 6-8 weeks. I can't wait to bring her home. It's so hard leaving her behind every time I go see her. Sometimes, the NICU is closed because of other patients, and I have to wait a whole day or many hours to see her again. Women who have full term well babies have no idea how hard it is to not be able to bring your child home with you.
