Nervous but I really wanna try it. Every time I shave, I always tend to get ingrown hairs & I can't really get all the places...

Try sugaring! It's fantastic, lasts weeks, all natural, and a cleaner alternative to waxing. It can also pick up shorter hairs than waxing and is less likely to break the hairs.

Waxing people is a big part of my job! The first session is quite painful - and it's ok to cry! Give about 3 weeks of hair growth for the waxer - hair too short and the wax won't pick it up, hair too long and it's more likely to break. If ingrowns are an issue, wait 48-72 hours post wax then do a GENTLE sugar scrub. Make one from home using your favorite oil and some basic sugar, and no need to scrub hard! Repeat every week. Try not to pick at ingrowns unless you are sure you can remove them - ingrowns have a lot of inflammation and picking at them causes more, making them more difficult to extract.

Each time after your first visit feels like such a breeze! Waxing encourages the hair to grow back thinner and sparser - keeping in mind everyones bodys are different!

I take ibuprofen about half an hour prior to the waxing, it makes the experience a tad less painful 😖 I've been doing it for years, just not on the pubic bone area. I do it myself and it probably takes me around an hour to do it because I don't pull it off furiously like the professional ladies do lol

I had my husband wax me for the first time a couple months ago because I would get super painful ingrown hairs. It hurt like a b*#•$! He thoroughly enjoyed it. I bled just a little but was super sore for like 4 days after. I haven't had the courage to do it again... But the hair DID grow back super fine and thinner! Maybe I should just bite the bullet and do it again.😖

Do it! I had my first wax 2 weeks ago and I'm still smooth. I talked to my girl about in grown hairs and waxing has helped.
