Only three rounds?

Question

My doctor told me I can only do three rounds of Clomid, then I would need to see a specialist. I always see people get six rounds so I’m confused?

Typically clomid works within three cycles. My Dr was the same. Said it could start having a negative effect if taken for too long.

Mine was the same. I only got 3 rounds until I was reevaluated. I got pregnant in 2 cycles.

My cousin was on Clomid for a year and then she finally got pregnant, unfortunately she had a miscarriage. However one month later she was pregnant with triplets! They are 2 years old now. I am going to same doctor and she told me I would need to be on Clomid one year. I’m about to start my 4th cycle.

My fertility doctor is also doing the same thing but I also already ovulate on my own
