I have always been hesitant about introducing anyone to my son. He met someone at age of 4. We broke up after a few months. Now he is 8 hasn’t met anyone since. I’ve been single for 4 years years. Till yesterday, guy i have been dating since last summer asked me to be officially bf/gf. To me it’s a big deal since I do not open up easily. But he is so great to me and I know I want this to last.

Here’s the tricky part...

My son is the jealous type. He tells me he doesn’t want me to have a bf. I’ve asked him why I shouldn’t and he said because I won’t pay attention to him. Which I clarified that no one will ever take his spot or the love I have for him! I have my son weekdays. Goes to dads on weekends. We broke up when little man was 3. Things are great between us as parents.

Any suggestions on how to introduce my son and my bf??? Might not be tomorrow lol but I do wanna have them meet sometime soon. I slowly wanna prepare my son for that.
