Possible TMI.... Please tell me whats going on

I have the period before x-mas, and was ovulating new years according to this app.. but then yesterday and today I have some slight cramping (which I never have) and had some dark brownish/dark red discharge,nothing heavy at all a little when I wipe or in my underwear. cramping has stopped and only discharge when I wipe... very little. Does anyone know what this could be??

I havent tested yet, was going to next week. Unless you ladies think I should test sooner!!
