Doc a tot?

Question

I’m not going to be cosleeping with baby, but is the doc a tot worth for anything else? I won’t be having a changing station but I have a dresser I was thinking of changing baby on there with the doc a tot.. is it worth ?
Edit: I think I won’t get it then! My dresser is fine and I can change on the bed real quick plus we’re getting a pack and play pen so f anything I’ll use the little sleeper on it. Thank you everyone!

I don't have a doc a tot and I do cosleep with Baby but I felt like sharing, I paid $10 for a waterproof easy to clean changing pad that I put on top of a dresser I planned to use as a changing table. And I never really used it. You'll find that it is So much easier to just change diapers on a bed or a couch. I keep some diapers, wipes, and diaper paste close by the bed and change Baby there. It's easier that way :)

Idk about using it as a changer, but the Dockatot is definitely worth it.👌🏾 I love the Dockatot. We never used ours as a co-sleeper either. Instead, we used it for naps during the day. Once she outgrew the Deluxe, we purchased the Grand. As far as a changing station, why not just buy a changing pad. That's what we did. However, the choice is yours yours!👍🏾 Like I said, the Dockatot is worth it!

Definitely not for changing your baby that's a waste of the price you pay for one. I'd keep it in the car if you visit other people alot or go to the park the baby can nap in it.

I used a changing pad on top of my daughter’s dresser. Changing on beds/couches is gross to me. 😷 it’s not like I poop in the living room. Haha. I did cosleep and I do still cosleep with my three year old daughter. She has her own bed but sleeps in mine from 4am-9am.

I would wait till you actually need it. Granted it was a life savor for us but it’s a good chuck of money to be just blowing with the possibility that baby doesn’t like it.

You should get a changing pad and cover and not use the dock-a-tot as a changing surface (not safe since there’s no strap). I got a dock a tot on clearance at tjmaxx and only plan on using it for supervised naps or a surface to put him on while I’m showering/etc (not for co-sleeping)

You don’t use the dockatot for changing a baby. They nap in it. It was a game changer for us. My daughter sleeps so well in it
