Flu while pregnant?

I’m freaking out I’m 22+2 and have the flu. My doctor just told me to drink lots of fluids and no need for concern for baby but I can’t help but worry. Has anyone else had the flu while pregnant?
Can’t help worry about every little thing 😢

Urgh poor you! Did you have the flu jab? I think the main thing is to keep your temperature down so have paracetamol, and to get plenty of fluids and rest. If you get a bad chest because of it then make sure you get checked out incase you need antibiotics for a chest infection. Really hope you fight it off soon. Baby will be well protected in there 🤗 x

Just recovered from the flu. Keep an eye on your temperature, drink lots of fluids like the doctor said, and for me Tylenol was recommended. Get as much sleep as you can and hopefully it doesn't last too long. Feel better soon!

I’m currently suffering from the flu as well. It’s miserable! My doctor isn’t worried about my baby, as they said the baby gets all the good and we get all the bad. My fever only reached 100.8 so very low, but I’m still worried about my baby! On top of that, I’m feeling horrible. Sore throat, chills, aches, and now a bad cough... it started last Wednesday! I feel like it will never end. They just advised me to stay well hydrated and rest. My sore throat is so bad at night that I can hardly sleep. However, I got a humidifier for my nightstand, which has helped. I hope you feel better!
