Did anybody have BFN at 9 dpo but still got a BFP in a few days?

My friends baby was a negative on the day her AF was expected.  It measures hormone level so if it's not high yet it won't show.

So I shouldn’t give up hoping this month then. I did a test this morning, pretty sure it’s negative but you always think you see something yourself don’t you! 🤞
