I had my first implant in from Jan 2015-May 2018, sometimes my period wouldn’t come for months, and if it did was a normal length cycle, or up by a day or two.

(They said the current impact I had in was just upgraded and was now good for 4 years, but I wanted to get it swapped out.)

Every period since then has been EXTREMELY long!

My periods each month have been minimum 16 days and max 22. Today for this cycle I’m on day 22 and I really hope it ends! Obviously it’s a long time to bleed, a lot of blood lost, and I’m definitely feeling fatigue, tired, nauseous at times...overall over it!

❓❓Has anyone ever experience really long periods while being on the implant? My first 3 years was a breeze, but these last few months after I got it swapped has been really hard! ❓❓
