Soft cups for ttc?!? 🧐

Can anyone explain how a soft cup helps for ttc? It seems that a lot of you are using them but i do not understand how can it help at all?! Isnt it the strength of the ejaculation what gets the sperm where it needs to go and the rest is just leftovers? Do you use the cup and then stay upsidedown to guide the leftovers in? Having all the extra sperm hanging in between does not make any sense to me? So i must be missing something 🧐
