What can I take for constipation during pregnancy??

I’ve been constipated for a few days now I’ve tried miralax, Metamucil, and dulcoease.. My prenatal vitamins are keeping me constipated.

Check to see if your prenatals contain iron. If you’re getting over 30mg from supplements and your diet combined that can make constipation a lot worse. I had to switch prenatals for that reason because I had it BAD!! I also make myself eat a bowl of fiber one cereal every morning. As stupidly simple as that sounds it helps tremendously. I also try to do a few sips of iced coffee if it’s super bad. I actually hate coffee now that I’m pregnant, but it really does the trick 😬 Good luck and feel better!
