When did you Personally put baby forward facing?

I know the recommendations, but I would like to see when you all actually made the switch. Feel free to comment your reasonings and warnings below but please keep it kind

Most if not al states in the US legally they have to be rear facing until 2 years old. Personally, my son will rear face until he outgrows the seat.

We’re keeping our daughter rear facing until she maxes out the limits of her seat. After doing research, we chose to do what was safest rather than just what was legal.

Scary to see how many that turns front facing at 1 and 2 years old.... 😳 doesn’t matter if baby is big or long, how the vertebrae grow is determined my age not size.

My pediatrician told me it was a state law to keep my child rear facing until 2. So that’s what I plan to do. Why not keep them rear facing the full amount of time? What exactly is it gonna hurt to wait? It’s obviously dangerous if you don’t wait since it’s a law.

18 months after showing carseat and talking to the doctor about it she is very tall and it was causing discomfort to the point she was distracting me while driving !

In Australia babies legally allowed to be turned at 6 Months!!
I personally am way too scared to turn her around 😰

I’m personally going to wait until he reaches the limit and then switch him to forward facing. I think it’s safest

Haven’t switched yet but my kid is a little peanut so I plan on going by weight not age.

With my one son, it was 1 year bc he is a big boy. My 2nd son was close to 2 bc hes a lot smaller.
