Everyone but my dad has gotten one. The only reason I'm allowing him to be around her is because he had cancer and it would be dangerous for him to get any vaccines right now.

Yep. Your ticket to visit my boy is tdap & flu shot- and if you didn’t get it in advance you get to wait 14 days after the shots to be able to visit. Better have the receipt or EOB you had it done too. If you don’t that’s ok just means you’re not welcome at my house when we get home from the hospital  🤷🏻‍♀️

Both sets of grandparents have gotten their TDAP and flu shot because they’ll be around a lot when he’s small. I also made a post on social media that anyone else that will be around him within the first 8 weeks need their shots. If they don’t want to get them, that’s totally cool, they will just have to wait to see him until he’s old enough to get his vaccines 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also asked family to get vaccinated for whooping cough which is included in the TDAP shot. This disease is very dangerous for babies. The nice thing is that this immunization is good for 10 years so if your family gets it now they should be set through the rest of your baby making years.
