My husband and I got married at the courthouse, so a few months ago we decided to do a “vow renewal/wedding celebration”.

We had an open bar at the celebration & I definitely took advantage of this since we were paying for it ourselves.

Well, fast forward a few months and my in-laws/family are telling me that certain relatives found it “appalling” for me to be drunk during this ceremony/celebration”.

I thought this was interesting since everyone who knows me, knows I drink. (Not heavily, but I love wine/whiskey)

I didn’t really do anything but laugh, and now I’m wondering if anyone else feels the same-

If you attending a wedding, would you find it obnoxious/tacky/rude for the bride to be drunk? What about the groom?
