Need advise

This is hard coming from me because I'm very self conscious about my body and my weight. But I've been trying to lose weight for years now. But I'm unsuccessful. I weigh between 253 & 265 I can never really seem to hit the below 250lb mark. I stopped drinking soda before, I've watched my eating habits. And I usually walk 1 or more miles a day.
