Spotting or discharge?

Is it considered spotting or discharge when you only see a tiny bit of tan or brown when you wipe on occasion? Like you would only know it was there if you were really looking for it and sometimes even had to go to better lighting to see it. Is that considered spotting? What do you consider spotting? Idk what to mark down sometimes. This is a pic of what I consider a lot compared to what I'm talking about above. Tmi... but I only got this much by slightly inserting the tp.
