I had my baby yesterday and she and I can’t wrangle my boobs in well enough for breastfeeding so I decided to save myself and her from the further aggravation and exclusively pump. So glad there’s a group for this!

Anyway, using the pump in the hospital for no matter how long, nothing is coming out, but hand expression opens the floodgates for my one breast. Is that just me? My hand keeps cramping and I don’t want to have to milk myself forever. Does anyone have any tips on using a pump? I know I’m at the hospital and can ask but honestly I just feel dumb and they’re pushing me to do breast. I just wanna hear from my peers.
