Had a saline sonogram today to see if I had a polyp. I didn’t, thankfully. However, they noticed my uterus was kind of a funny shape. It should have looked like a blown up balloon, but it kind of pinched in at the middle. She said it looked like scar tissue potentially, but that it wasn’t a big deal...

I am scheduling an HSG in a week or two which she said should give me answers about what’s going on. My question is this...I know sometimes minor blockages can be cleared out with the HSG procedure, while some need to be surgically fixed. Would anyone mind sharing their HSG experiences when they had some type of blockage? Was it fixed that day or did you need to go in for removal of tissue or blockage? Thank you!
