How long did it take for u heal from your first marriage and get remarried?

My ex husband and I never had kids thank god so I can't give you an answer for that. as for the healing process it was quite hard for me, he was having an affair for almost a year with his co worker before I found out and she was pregnant with his baby and it was completely devastating. We were not even married for 2 years, we separated in 2011 and I did not file for divorce until may 2014. I had a hard time with it, I felt disgusting and was really depressed, because of the depression I lost a ton of weight and started going out and partying every weekend with friends and just living life in my early 20s. it kinda just hit me one day that I was over writing his last name on everything and I wanted to be me again so that's when I filed. I am now in a very happy relationship with a man I never thought I'd find for the last almost 3 years.

I was single for a good year. Dated a couple times. Got serious about 2 years after. Remarried. 
Coparenting was a bust. He just ended up not really having any involvement and it was all me, trying to let his kids have Dad time. 
After a while they got old enough to text and whatever to contact him themselves. I don’t think I’ve talked to the father of my kids for two years. No need anymore.

It took me 6 months after leaving my ex husband to find the man of my dreams! It happened very unexpectedly, and my ex husband and my relationship had been over for much longer than before I left him! He had cheated on me for many years and I stayed bc we had a child together! It’s been over 2 years now and we get along pretty well and co parent great!

Ive been married twice.  After my first husband I dated around,  quite a bit but it took me a full 2 1/2 years to really be over him and even think about getting serious with somebody. We got married at 19 and 22 and got married for all the "right" reasons. I truly loved him and we were together for 11 years,  married 9 of that.  My second husband I should've never married.  We were together 3 1/2 years before we got married,  I knew he cheated on me all the time but I felt like if I married him it would stop.  It didn't.  I caught him cheating 11 months in to our marriage and told him I wanted a divorce.  He convinced me to stay through the holidays but our marriage was over. I had no intentions of getting in ti another relationship any time soon but I moved to a different state and while trying to meet new friends I met my now fiance.  It was only a few months after filing for divorce from #2.
