I am 37 years old, just got married, and would like to have children eventually. I have talked to my doctor at 35 and again at 36 about concerns with starting later and she said that everything looks good. My next appointment with her is next month, but in the last 3 months I have had the faintest spotting - like when I wipe there is a faint rust color, like the beginning of a period, that appears. It’s usually a week before my cycle and I am wondering if this is something that has happened to anyone else and if I should be concerned. I have no idea if I have fertility issues because I haven’t ever been or tried to get pregnant. Also the women in my family have had babies later in life. My husband and I aren’t really ready to try for another year, but I’m wondering if we should start now.
