My doctor is no help!

I am 20 years old and I’ve been ttc for a year and I’ve gone to all my appointments and I am diagnosed with PCOS and I want my doctor to prescribe me clomid or fermara but it’s like he always says birth control will help and it’s getting on my nerve. How should I convinced him to start taking the meds? Plus I do have small cyst around my ovaries.
