I’m pregnant! How do I tell my husband after multiple miscarriages?

I almost don’t believe it myself and and I don’t want to worry alone but I don’t want to get his hopes up.

Call your doctors and have bloodwork done immediately. Wait till you know everything is good if your afraid to tell him. 
But I think you should tell him. Yes it’s hard to get hopes up but you also need that support. I wasn’t going to tell my husband we were pregnant till I knew what my bloodwork was like, but realized if things weren’t good I wasn’t going to be able to deal without him.

I always told my husband right away and tried my best to be cautiously optimistic so I didn’t get his hopes up, but also didn’t worry him too much. We are now 23w5d with our rainbow! I hope this is your sticky bean too 🙏🏼

I know how you feel. I'm not quite in the same boat, but I suffered a miscarriage back in June 2018 and this month we will be trying again and if/when I do get pregnant again, I'm wondering if I should keep it to myself until I go to that 1st ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. (We never got to hear the heartbeat at our 1st ultrasound appointment because by then I was about to miscarry) My fiancé took the miscarriage so hard and I want to try to protect his heart as much as possible if I can. But then again, I'm torn because I want him to be there to hear that 1st heartbeat. Ugh, miscarriages ruin so much!! I'm so sorry, I hope you can figure out what to do. As for me, I guess I still have some thinking to do.

There’s no way I could get a positive test after having a miscarriage & not tell my husband immediately. We would ride it out together no matter what the outcome. That and he would be absolutely livid if I were to not tell him.
