how early is to early to start buying for baby ?

I'm 12 weeks and really tempted to start buying stuff, is it still to early? opinions please .

I'm 13 weeks and have bought a blanket, booties, an outfit, hat set, dribble bibs and a steriliser set with bottles. It was all on offer so I couldn't resist

I'm far too worried that something will go wrong to buy anything. Might start at end of 2nd trimester if it feels right.

I think as long as all is well you can buy. But things like diapers. It'll hopefully feed your want to buy and will be useful for both a boy or girl.

I buy stuff here and there. No harm in it. I've purchased a couple of sleepers. We have most of the big stuff since this is our fourth but I'm buying a car seat as soon as I see one pop up on zulily lol

I'm tempted as well. I'll be 13 weeks Monday and I'm getting the harmony screening and gender test then so by next week I'll know the gender. I haven't bought anything but my fiancé already bought a bouncer thing... But he's a compulsive buyer. The only thing stopping him from buying more is we don't know the gender yet. Plus I tell him it's more important to save every penny and get a registry going for a baby shower. That way we don't spend a lot and have two of everything after the baby shower.

I've already bought a 2nd hand walker. My son had one like it and he loved it. But I'm not shopping for clothes and all until after the gender reveal. I've already started 3 registries for unisex stuff.

Ive bought sum bottles n sum small unisex items for the baby... We r gonna buy a few cases of diapers not newborn or 1s as they will buy them for baby shower

I would wait until mid second trimester. After the gender reveal. But it can't hurt to start looking and pricing things!
