Any dental assistants?

How do you like it? About how much do you make? Did the dentist train you? Etc

I’m not one, but my sister in law is. She loves the field and wants to eventually become a dentist herself. I think she really enjoys being an assistant and she likes that she gets to assist in all different sorts of procedures. However, from what I understand, the pay isn’t that great. But it has the potential to get a fair bit better.
