When to stop taking prenatals and fish oils?

Do we have to stop taking vitamins at a certain time before delivery? I hear that it thins your blood. 
Or did you continue to take pills up till your water broke?

I’m still taking my prenatal vitamins a year postpartum lol I wasn’t aware their was a time limit? I was always told they make a great vitamin even if you’re not pregnant.

I was told to continue taking them not only up to delivery, but also afterwards as your body has gone though a lot and needs the extra vitamins. I have never heard prenatals thin the blood.

The only thing I've heard you have to stop taking is baby aspirin at 36 weeks. I was under the impression you should continue the prenatals well after you've given birth.

I take prenatals as  long as I’m pregnant/nursing.

I took them right up until I stopped breastfeeding. It’s recommended to continue them following birth, especially if you’re breastfeeding.

You should actually continue taking them after birth as well, at least if you plan on breastfeeding. I’ve been on prenatals for four years straight between TTC, pregnancy, breastfeeding, TTC, and pregnancy again. Never had any issues in labor.
