Ectopic

So i have had an ectopic pregnancy where one of my tubes were removed. So i have one left and i have been told by multiple people,. One, I should be careful being that I can be at risk for another, another person told me I should have been notified by my doctor 2 get my other tube clean and dilated to avoid another ectopic when I want to get pregnant. It makes me very nervous being that I do want to be a mother one of these days and being that I have one tube left really makes me nervous. It was one of the most painful experiences that I wish never to have again. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do? Or has anyone experienced this?
