Are anyone's toddlers still not talking?

Question

Mine is picking up random words but doesnt use words conversationally if that makes sense. Just likes to point to certain things and sometimes say what they are (ex. "Dog! Woof woof") And if she asks for something, she just points and says mom.  Should I be concerned

I'd get an evaluation at this point. If it's nothing great, but if it is something it is better addressed sooner.

I would have an evaluation done too. We had one done on my son right before he turned two and has been in speech therapy for about 5 months now and I think it’s helped a lot.

My little guy hasn’t been talking. We’ve been in speech therapy since July, we’re making progress but definitely not there yet. My first was talked very early and was beyond where he should be so this was all new for me, it’s been a journey and I appreciate every word he says!

Your local school district will do an early childhood evaluation free of cost. I would say yes, at this point you should get evaluated to look at what is causing the delay. ❤️

My son never stops talking lol I think it’s helped that he has a 7 year old brother. He can talk in full sentences.
