Has anyone ever heard of not washing your hair 6weeks after you've delivered your baby? I mean my baby got his hair washed the day he was delivered... My mom was telling me it's not good to wash your hair 6weeks after you've had your baby because your pores are open...?

Psh girl, the moment those nurses tell me it's safe to shower (in the hospital) I'm showering. Washing my hair included.

I washed my hair while still in the hospital. It really helped me to start to feel like myself again.

Haha pores are always open. Just another dumb wives tale. My MIL tried to tell me the same thing along with the dangers of ice water after birth.
