Lower back and hip pain

I've been having a ton of pain in my hip almost feels out of joint especially if I step the wrong way. I've got a lower back brace that helps but still very hard to deal with this pain and take care of my 1 year old. OB says it's probably just ligaments relaxing and to take Tylenol but I'm a bit paranoid at taking medication while pregnant. Anybody else experience this?
