Pump waayyy more in the mornings, is this normal?

So I just went back to work and started pumping when I’m away from my baby. In the mornings I pump like 12 oz combined from both breasts but after that I’m lucky to get 4-5oz combined. Is this normal. I’m pumping every 2-3 hours at work. Feeding her in the morning before I go in and all evening/night at home. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep same for me every day--9 oz in the morning and 4ish the rest of the day.

Yes totally normal. Your boobie milk making hormones are high in the morning. Btw 12 oz is awesome 😊😊

Very normal. Also do you pump in the middle of the night? If not, then that milk is being stored in the breast until you pump. So longer period in between can mean more milk stored
