How long to caffeine withdrawal headaches last!?!?

I’ve had a headache for 3 days straight. Tylenol isn’t cutting it. 
I’m 4 weeks. I cut out caffeine as soon as I got a positive. 
I was drinking 2 mountain dews a day. And tea. 
I saw online 20hours -a week! 
How long did yours last???

I cut out caffeine my 1st pregnancy and had a headache for 2 months straight. Next 3 pregnancies I stuck to the 200mg/day in the morning and did much better. No difference in the kids (they're ages 6 - 8 months)

It will last about a week, then you will start to feel great. I cut out coffee/caffeine once DH and I decided to TTC for our second. We never drank coffee until a year after having our daughter. I truly believe caffeine can affect your child in a negative way while pregnant. So I want to prove my own theory by doing the same thing I did the first time and see how that turns out. Ha 😬

I cut down my caffeine intake but not totally cut. Typically I had two coffees a day. Ever since I found out I’ve been having one small cup in the morning. That’s it. You’re allowed to have up to 200 mg so why are you totally cutting it? Mountain Dew is bad for you in general though because it contains so much sugar. Try drinking tea instead. Low amounts of caffeine and it should help with the headache.

You don’t have to completely cut out caffeine. Coffee doesn’t agree with me right now, but caffeinated sodas etc are fine in moderation. Most doctors suggest limiting it to 200 mg or under per day.

I’ve given up caffeine bc my doctor told me not too so it’s been almost 9 months without caffeine and I just drink stuff that’s caffeine free

You can drink coffee. Cutting it out like that isn’t the best idea. Just cut it from x amount a day to 1 time. I had 3-4 cups of coffee a day. I wasn’t gonna give it up.
