Frustrated with first OBGYN visit

I know I’m just being emotional, but I went into my first dr visit with higher hopes. My dr. didn’t even say congratulations. He just said I need to have bloodwork done (they have a lab there) to get my HCG levels. If they’re 2000 or above, I have to call and schedule my own ultrasound at the hospital. If they’re below that, I need to make another appointment with him. Not even a pee in the cup! He said I can call tomorrow afternoon for the numbers. When I told him I had brown discharge/spotting super light from last Wednesday thru yesterday, he just said it happens and it’s old blood. I don’t know what exactly I was expecting but that wasn’t it. Spent 45 minutes there for just 3 minutes with an uninterested doctor. Ugh.
