Do you wash brand new baby clothes before putting it on baby?

This should be a no-brainer. Most clothes are made overseas, you have NO idea what they've been exposed to before you receive them. Anything from dyes to insecticides. Please ALWAYS wash the clothes first!

I am 23 weeks and I have a separate basket just for baby's clothes. When he gets something new I put it there until I have a load and wash it. Around 36 weeks I plan on re washing everything again so that it is all fresh and ready for him when he arrives.

I'm almost 6 months & wash anything I buy or anyone else has bought for the baby already. Lol I'm a germaphobe.
