Question

How much water are you giving your babies??
My daughters doctor at 6 months, said she can have water when she’s eating food. My research says 2-4oz per meal?
What’s everyone doing etc?

I just fill her sippy cup up and she can drink as much as she likes.if she finishes it and she seems thirsty later I’ll fill it back up

As long as she has enough breastmilk and is eating her three meals I let her drink as much as she wants. That's typically like 4oz a day. They don't really need it but i think it's just refreshing and helps her eat

My child most days, drinks more than 4oz. He’s still eating normal and getting his bottles but it’s accessible to him all day.. I fill his cup up after it’s empty 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’d say he drinks closer to 8-10oz of water a day.
