Baby’s stomach measuring small?

Hi mommas! 
I’m 35 weeks and babys stomach is measuring as about 2 weeks behind. They say she’s in the 10th percentile so they’re considering inducing but for now they’re just monitoring. They said it’s not a huge deal but I’m nervous!!! 
Just curious about others who have experienced the same thing, what ended up happening? Is this indicative of something more serious?

At 39w6d my last baby had been measuring behind every week and always in the 8-10th percentile ... I had decreased movement and went in for an ultrasound, mfm came in and told me she was under 5 lbs measuring very small and they would induce in the am (on my due date) and a mere 15 hours later ..... she was born less than 24 hours later at 7lbs5oz 20in ...... ultrasounds can be wrong later in pregnancy

From my understanding, if tummy is measuring small they may take baby early because the placenta could not be nourishing baby properly. If that’s the case I wouldn’t tell them you don’t want to go through with the induction. It’s important if your LO isn’t getting the nutrients they need from the inside to get them out so you can start getting them what they need. Each baby is different. My baby is measuring small all together so they told me to start eating more protein so if my baby doesn’t start growing better after that they will induce because that means it is some other reason why he is not getting proper nutrients anymore like a maturing placenta.

I had the same thing!!! But my dr gave me some supplements and after two week we are back in track!!

I would tell them to not worry about it, if your feeling fine and don’t want to go through with an induction, don’t.

I'm 35 weeks and have been sent to have a fetal assessment done in a couple days because my uterus is only measuring 30 cm (3-5 cm behind). Will update once I know what's going on haha

I had the same exact issue but I carried my daughter to 39 weeks. They told me the same thing at 30 weeks and just monitored but she stayed until 39 weeks exactly she was 6.5 when born but all was good and everything turned out fine. Also some measurements are off so don’t stress

Hey, I’m going through this right now. 36 weeks and baby’s stomach is disproportionately smaller than the rest of him. They’re talking about inducing me at 37. I’m so full of worry. How is your bub doing now?
