Eating meat after being vegetarian for 3 years?

I’ve been craving meat so badly that i literally had a dream that I ate it. I want to incorporate meat back into my diet, but I’m worried about getting sick. Any advice? The only meat I won’t eat is pork products.

I never got sick. I was vegetarian for 2 years and one day I just wasn't.  Didn't start slow or work myself up to certain meats. I just went back to eating like I had 2 years before with zero issues. 
My fiance was vegan for several years and he didn't have any issue going back to an omnivore diet, either...🤷🏽‍♀️

I was a vegetarian for 4 years and just recently started eating chicken (and turkey on Christmas). I was super nervous about feeling sick but nothing happened 🤷🏻‍♀️

Work with the light meats I ddI this afternoon being a veggie for most of my childhood (I had no interest in meat until I was a teen) I started with fish, then chicken, then pork and beef. To this day I still favor fish and chicken, then would be ribs and bacon. I’m just not a beef person all that much, I hate steak lol

I’m vegetarian and the advice I’ve heard is to just very slowly add it back in. So start with like a salad with just a tiny bit of chicken, or a turkey sandwich with just once slice of turkey, something like that and see how you feel... eat what doesn’t make you upset and increase it slowly until it’s a normal part of your diet... I would also suggest starting with just white mean as red meat will likely upset your stomach more
