✨ January/February IVF! ✨

Hi, ladies!

I’m Jen. I’m 33 (will turn 34 in March), DH is 36. Been married four years, TTC two years and four months. After the first year, we did five rounds of IUI. Got pregnant on the third, but miscarried and had to get a D&C. Have never gotten pregnant trying naturally. Unexplained infertility but possible slight male factor.

It has been four months since our last IUI and we’re moving on to IVF this month. Started birth control tonight (01/09), will go in for a trial transfer and a saline sonogram next Wednesday (01/16) and then start stims within a few days after that.

Our ideal situation is to have enough good embryos to let them age to day 5 blastocysts and do PGS testing with a frozen transfer in a few months, but I have diminished ovarian reserve so if I end up producing only a few eggs and my day 3 amount is low, we may do a fresh transfer with no testing instead.

I’m excited but also pretty nervous. Anyone else a first-timer, and/or doing IVF in the next month?
