Is this normal??

I had my first sono today and the baby never moved. There was a heart beat but no movement we were only in the appt for about 3 mins but I just didn't know if this is normal? The heart beat was 165.

I would say it is fine. Depending on how far along you are they may not be incredibly active yet.  The fact that there is a visual HB is a great sign!  Don't forget too, that they do like to sleep in there!!!  Don't worry momma!

My little one was sleep during the entire ultrasound one day.  The next week my peanut was dancing, turning over, kicking and having a grand ole time!!  These babies sleep a lot! I'm sure he/she is ok 😀

I had a vaginal ultrasound at 11w 3d. Baby was sleeping at first, then it seemed to wake up and moved all over the place! Before he/she woke up, the dr wasn't nervous though. Maybe you're just making a really great sleeper:)

Same here. I've had 3 US so far and baby hasn't ever moved. Heart rate is always 170 though. Such a bummer. They told me next time to drink OJ an hour and a half or so before.

I saw the baby moving at 9 weeks. But if there is a hb I wouldn't be too worried. Babies sleep in there! 😁

How far along are you? I know that I first saw my baby move at around 11-12 weeks.

Depends how far you are, if you're so early along, it's usually not detectable to see movement on an ultra sound. I wouldn't be too worried, especially if they didn't mention anything

I had mine Tuesday. I'm 11 weeks 3 days but measuring 11 weeks 6 days. Mine minion was doing flips and waving
