Is it okay to wear my moms wedding dress even if her marriage ended in divorce?

I really love my moms wedding dress, and although I always wanted to wear it when I was younger, now I’m questioning if that is the right decision. I’m not opposed to buying my own gown that fits my personal style, but my mothers dress was beautiful too and it’d be a nice way to honor her. 
She and my father got a divorce. Would wearing her dress be bad luck, or am I just superstitious?

My husband originally proposed to me with his mothers wedding ring, which their marriage ended horribly. Our relationship was trash for awhile, we broke up and then got back together. He proposed with a new ring and now we're married. I think it brought us bad luck honestly. I personally wouldn't wear it but that's all up to you.
