Vaccines during pregnancy?

Is it safe to get the influenza vaccine during pregnancy? My doctor told me im overdue for it but im scared what of it harms my baby.

Getting the flu vaccine would be far less stress on your body than getting the flu, so take that into account. All the flu vaccine is is a very small amount of a flu strain so your immune system can build antibodies.

I got the flu shot when I was pregnant and my son who is now almost 3 is healthy...it didn't affect him

I got pregnant at the end of "flu season", but I worked at a university so the Dr suggested I get it anyways, so I did. I hadn't gotten one since I was little, but I figured it was important to keep myself as healthy as can be working so closely with such a large number of college students.
