Breastfed 4 babies including twins (the twins nursed the longest until 3) and I will nurse all future babies until they are ready to wean.

To anyone who wants to breastfeed, know that while it is natural, it does not always COME naturally. By that I mean it can be difficult. There is a definite learning curve, lol. I have struggled with every baby. My issue was lip and tongue ties which caused a poor latch for my babies and a lot of pain for me.

There is A LOT of bad advice out there. I suggest talking to an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and connecting with your local La Leche League leader. And don't be hard on yourself! Take it one day (or boob) at a time :)

I really hope I can exclusively breast feed. I haven't bought any bottles or anything so I am kind of banking on it. Lol.

I don't know if I'll be able to as I'm on meds that I have no choice but to take. If I can, I will pump and bottle feed, I will have to go back to work, so I want to do whatever will be the least stressful for my baby.

Wanted to bf but my lupus wouldn't allow me. It dried up my supply in two months so I had to use formula. So of course wic dosent cover his formula. So expensive!

I couldn't breast feed with my daughter without just straight pumping because she was 3 months premature.

My son I didn't even know I wanted to so bad because my husband at the time which is their dad told me he thought it was gross and I couldn't do it in public after he was born I did tons of research and decide if I ever have another baby I'm going to pump and breast feed.
