Me and my partner got genital warts at a same time! And we’ve never had it before... and we didn’t have sex like about 2years or more! Both of us!
What is this? And where did it come from?!
It’s driving me crazy! Pls help us!

Are you sure your partner is being honest about how long since he has been with someone?

So, either one of you had it and it just flared up. Or one of you isn’t being honest with the other. I just looked and it might take a few months for them to show up. Two people without them can’t just all of a sudden contract them. I would have a serious convo with your SO.

You can be a carrier of the herpes virus. It can take something like stress or trauma to come out. My friend had it once and that’s what they told her. Obviously you can catch it from a partner. But maybe speak with a doctor see what they say. I’m sure it’s called herpes complex. There’s different forms of it. My step son has one where he gets big infected spots he’s had to had a few operated on. Not on his “bits” though x

What do you mean you didn’t have sex? Are you sure it is genital warts?
I had a miscarriage in November and about 2 weeks later I found out I had herpes. At first i thought it was an ingrown hair then more developed. My gyno said my husband probably has the herpes virus (he does get cold sores which is HSV1). I said he doesn’t have anything on him at all, and she said he may have already had an outbreak but most people think it’s a zit or two and don’t even realize what it is. 
Mine was definitely way worse than “a zit or two” and was super painful. My gyno said the stress of my miscarriage probably caused me to have my first outbreak even though I’ve been having sex with my husband for years.
