Ready to freeze some milk! How much in each bag?

I think I'm finally ahead enough of my boy's demand to start freezing some milk. What's a good quanity in each bag to freeze? Right now he mostly eats in 2 ounce sessions but I was wondering if I should put 4 ounces in each bag in order to save bags and do less defrosting later on. Or should I try to fill the bags? FTM, I have no clue what to do haha!

I used to freeze mine in ice cube trays then pop into one big ziplock once frozen each cube is 1oz so you take what you need without wasting. Just be sure to label the date on any bags you use, keep them at the back of the freezer and rotate your stash so nothing gets left behind and you end up tossing it. Tossing liquid gold is painful :(

I freeze 5oz at a time. But I also keep 25oz in the fridge unthawed at all times.

I've just been freezing whatever amount I pumped, it ranges between 2 and 5oz.

My l&d nurse suggested freezing bags of 2oz, 4oz, and 6oz. That way you can give a smaller amount if he's still hungry without wasting a whole bag.

What ever I pump for that session is what I freeze. I feed on demand so she only uses the milk I freeze if I'm out running errands and she's with dad or I'm super busy and can't feed her right away. Range from 2-5oz right now so dad can use as much as he thinks she'll need. Mine never goes to waste my little one is greedy lol.
